The name was invented in the first half of the 19th century by the Hungarian poet, writer and translator Mihály Vörösmarty . This formed it from the old Hungarian name Enéh with the diminutive -kő . In the Hungarian saga of the miracle deer, Enéh is the mother of Hunor and Magor , from whom, according to legend, the Huns and Magyars descended. The original meaning of the name is Young Hindu .
