Enmebaragesi

Enmebaragesi or Mebaragesi (* approx. 2615 BC; † approx. 2585 BC) was a Sumerian king of the Etana dynasty in the city of Kiš . His son and successor was Agga .

Enmebaragesi appears in the later king lists. He is the first Sumerian ruler who is also documented on contemporary monuments. His name appears on a stone bowl from Hafaǧi and one that was bought in the art market.
