Enrico Beruschi (born September 5, 1941 in Milan ) is an Italian actor , singer and director.

Life

Beruschi gave up his job as a clerk and appeared as a cabaret artist; his programs were well received by critics and viewers. With his spontaneous comedy, he received offers from television at the beginning of the 1970s (for example for the program Non stop ) and was seen in numerous formats, partly as a guest, partly as a host. A well-known character he developed was that of the husband under the knuckle of his dominating wife. Since Beruschi wanted to try out as many artistic fields as possible, he also took part in the 1979 Sanremo Festival (with Sarà un fiore ), made radio and played theater roles and, between 1975 and 1979, several film roles in which he ironically played small, personable characters . In the 1990s he was to be seen again on stage with Tre sull'altalena and La cena dei cretini , which he continued into the new millennium. In 2007 Beruschi made his debut as a theater director; he also tried his hand at operetta (in Le avventure di Pinocchio by Antonio Cericola ). He also played in a number of television series, most recently in Io e Margherita from 2011.
