The Ensemble Organum is a vocal ensemble of early music that focuses on the interpretation of medieval music has specialized.

It was founded in 1982 by Marcel Pérès in the Abbey of Sénanque and was subsequently built up at the Royaumont Monastery to form an important ensemble in the interpretation of medieval music. Since 2001, the formation has its headquarters at the Saint-Pierre Abbey in Moissac ; it is flexible in its membership structure, which means that members from all over the world have contributed their respective musical traditions.

The ensemble's repertoire ranges from traditional pieces of music from the beginnings of Christianity and pre-forms of Gregorian chant to literature of medieval tradition from the 20th century. Findings from ancient performance practice, which members of the ensemble had developed in long-term studies of old traditions from different regions, play a major role in the interpretation. The careful treatment of decorative and microtonal elements leads to a noticeably different result than with other specialized vowel formations, which have followed the common interpretation since the restitution of Gregorian chant at the Abbaye Saint-Pierre de Solesmes .
