Entrance

Entrance is a settlement in the Canadian province of Alberta on the Athabasca River near the junction of the Bighorn Route (Alberta Highway 40) from the Yellowhead Highway (Canada Highway 16). The settlement near the entrance to Jasper National Park has about 70 inhabitants. The settlement bears the name Entrance (in English "entrance") because of its function as an entrance to the Jasper National Park.
