The Entsorga-Enteco was an international trade fair for waste management , water management and environmental technology . Enteco stands for "Environmental Technology". It took place every three years at Koelnmesse and offered exhibitors and visitors an area of around 110,000 m². In September 2003 the 10th environmental fair took place under the name ENTSORGA.

In 2006 the 11th trade fair took place under the name Entsorga-Enteco. The event was organized by the Federal Association of the German Waste Management Industry (BDE), Berlin. Approx. 1,000 exhibitors from 28 countries showed the spectrum of waste management, such as B. waste incineration plants, landfills or composting plants. Almost every third of the approximately 43,000 trade visitors did not come from Germany. Waste management companies, disposal companies, recycling companies, municipalities, administrations and environmental and monitoring authorities came from around 100 countries.

Topics and focal points moved in the broad field of the recycling and waste law . In addition to the classic areas of waste management, recycling, water, sewage and incineration, this also includes renewable energies, municipal services, technology, logistics, air pollution control, immission control, occupational safety and noise protection.

In 2010 the trade fair, which at last only had 36,000 trade visitors, was discontinued at the Cologne location and merged with the Munich IFAT , which was then temporarily held under the name IFAT Entsorga.
