Stoner
A stoner or stoner is a kitchen appliance for faster stoning of smaller stone fruits , including plums , plums , mirabelle plums and cherries .
The working principle is always the same: the fruit is placed in a holder and a stick pushes the core out of the fruit from above.
In devices for plums or plums, the fruit is cut into four parts at the same time with a knife.
Stoners are made of metal or plastic, there are different designs: hand stoners or floor-standing devices, simple designs or those with which you can stone smaller and larger fruits at the same time. Very elaborate constructions have a storage container for the fruit that is still to be processed, a container for the ejected seeds and a channel in which the pitted fruit roll into a container.
