Drainage system
Drainage systems are used to discharge wastewater ( wastewater and rainwater ).
They are divided into:
- Gravity drainage systems within buildings according to DIN EN 12056,
- Gravity drainage systems outside according to DIN EN 752 and
- Pressure drainage systems for special applications,
as well as ownership in:
- Sewer pipes on private property according to DIN 1986-100 and
- the public sewer system .
DIN EN 12056-1 to 5 and DIN EN 752 have priority, while DIN 1986-100 only contains special national requirements for sewage discharge that deviate from the European standard.
