Small Encyclopedia for Mining ( Ukrainian Мала гірнича енциклопедія Mala hirnytscha encyclopedia ) is a three-volume Ukrainian encyclopedia in the field of mining . It describes around 18,000 technical terms in the field of exploration , extraction and primary processing of minerals . The book is aimed at mining professionals.
The Ukrainian mining scientist Volodymyr Bilezkyj (Ukrainian: Білецький Володимир Стефанович) was the author and editor of the first Ukrainian national encyclopedia for mining .
