Erich Grond

Erich Grond (* 1929 ) is a German internist , gerontologist and psychotherapist specializing in elderly care and dementia .

biography

Erich Grond began studying philosophy and theology in 1951 after graduating from high school, and in 1958 medicine with a state examination and doctorate as a degree. From 1980 to 1994 Grond was Professor of Social Medicine and Psychopathology at the Catholic University of North Rhine-Westphalia in Cologne . He works as a psychotherapist and lecturer in geriatric psychiatry in geriatric care seminars and is honorary professor at the University of Dortmund .
