Erich Hochstädt

Erich Hochstädt (born September 30, 1929 in Bottrop ) is a professor emeritus , dean and rector of the Oldenburg / Ostfriesland / Wilhelmshaven University of Applied Sciences .

After attending elementary and middle school, Hochstädt attended grammar school from 1947 to 1951, from which he graduated with an Abitur. He then began studying electrical engineering at the Technical University of Hanover . He then worked in the development department of the AEG factories in Hameln . Until his retirement in 1995, Hochstädt was professor, dean and rector of the University of Applied Sciences Oldenburg / Ostfriesland / Wilhelmshaven . In addition, he was deputy chairman of the Lower Saxony State University Conference and a member of the West German Rectors' Conference .
