Erillos
Erillos ( ancient Greek Ἔρυλλος ) was a Greek painter who worked in the second half of the 5th century BC. Was active.
He is named by Pliny, along with Aglaophon , Kephisodoros and Euenor, as one of the painters who worked in the 90th Olympiad (420-417 BC). He was one of the good, but not first-class painters, so that even in Pliny’s time little was known of him. Possibly he can be identified with a sculptor mentioned elsewhere, whose name has only been corrupted and is usually read Perellus .
