The night circus

The night circus is a romantic fantasy tale. It mainly takes place at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Two magicians have been competing against each other for centuries. Everyone wants to convince the other of the superiority of their system. The confrontations are carried out by their students through life and death fights. In the current round, the unscrupulous Hector sends his daughter Celia into the race against Alexander's student Marco. The venue for the dispute is the eponymous night circus, which is created for this purpose. Instead of outdoing each other with their skills, however, the two protagonists develop a feeling for their respective counterpart and create attractions that complement or contrast harmoniously. Both realize that their connection is more than a commitment to fight. They also feel that they have a responsibility for the members of the night circus. So they are looking for a solution both for the fulfillment of their love and for the continuation of the night circus. In doing so, they are dependent on the help of others, but they do not magically influence their behavior because they want to preserve their freedom of decision.
