Guardian First Book Award
The Guardian First Book Award is a British literary award . It was launched in 1965 by The Guardian as a Guardian Fiction Award for a novel from the United Kingdom or Commonwealth . As of 1999, it was an award for the first book by an author and was not limited to any particular genre. It was awarded for the last time in 2015.
