Church of the Savior in Poznan

The Church of the Holy Savior (Polish: Kościół Najświętszego Zbawiciela ) in Posen was built in the years 1866–1869 in the neo-Gothic style according to designs by Friedrich August Stüler († 1865) as St. Pauli Church for an Evangelical Lutheran parish in the Old Prussian Ecclesiastical Province of Poznan . After Poznan moved to the resurrected Poland, the parish belonged to the Uniate Evangelical Church in Poland .

After the end of the Second World War in 1945 with the flight and expulsion of most of the parishioners, the Archdiocese of Posen took over the Church of the Redeemer and then consecrated it as a Roman Catholic church. The building has been a listed building since 1984 .
