Ernst-Rüdiger look

Ernst-Rüdiger Look (born June 21, 1937 in Helmstedt ) is a German geologist.

Look received his doctorate from Leibniz University in Hanover in 1967 . He was a geologist at the Lower Saxony State Office for Soil Research . He has the title of professor.

Look was for many years chairman of the Geotopes and Geotope Protection section of the German Geological Society. He is an honorary member of the German Quaternary Association . In 2012 he was awarded the Serge von Bubnoff Medal .

He is the managing director of the Academy for Geosciences and Geotechnologies in Hanover, an association for the promotion of geology and geotope protection.

Look is married and has three daughters.
