Ernst Dreisigacker

Ernst Dreisigacker (* 1947 ) is a German physicist and science journalist.

Dreisigacker received his doctorate in 1978 from the University of Heidelberg (A multi-box model of the North Atlantic to simulate the distribution of trace substances). From 1982 to 1998 he was editor-in-chief of Physikalische Blätter , the DPG's in-house magazine. He then succeeded Volker Schäfer as managing director of the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation .

In 1998 he and Helmut Lotsch received the medal for scientific journalism from the German Physical Society (DPG).
