Ernst Hoffmann (politician, 1881)

Ernst Hoffmann (born November 27, 1881 in Insterburg , † after 1925) was a German administrative lawyer and politician ( DVP ).

Hoffmann attended the humanistic grammar school and studied law after graduating from high school. He completed his studies with a doctorate to become a Dr. jur. from. He was first appointed court assessor and in 1911 magistrate assessor in Halle / Saale. In 1912 he was elected to the city council in Thorn and in 1916 to the city council in Königsberg (Prussia) . There he was chairman of the constituency association of the DVP.

From 1921 to 1925 he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of East Prussia for the DVP and the Konigsberg-Stadt constituency and was elected to the Provincial Committee. From 1921 to 1926 he was a deputy member of the Prussian State Council for the working group (various bourgeois parties) .
