Ersboda Sportklubb is a Swedish sports club from Ersboda , a district of Umeå . The club has departments for soccer and indoor bandy , the former handball department now operates as an independent club under the name Umeå HF .
history
Ersboda SK was founded in 1986. The football team initially played only inferiorly. In 2003 she rose as champions of the fifth division 4 Västerbotten Södra in the fourth division . There, the direct march into the third division was missed due to the poorer goal difference compared to Kubikenborgs IF as third in the table. In the following year the championship in Division 3 Mellersta Norrland succeeded , because of a league reform in Sweden this meant qualification for the now fourth-class Division 2.
In 2007 Ersboda SK rose to the third-class Division 1 Norra as champions of Division 2 Norrland . There the team played against the direct relegation, who had to be accepted as third from bottom with one point behind IK Brage . Then she established herself in the fourth division.
