First job market

The regular labor market is referred to as the first labor market. In this labor market, there are employment and employment relationships without grants or other measures of active labor market policy based on the free economy. No state benefits are received from employers or employees.

The first labor market arises from employment and employment relationships in the free economy as well as inclusion companies according to § 215 SGB IX or self-help companies.

Current status

At present, a large number of employment relationships with disabled people of whatever type and degree are being concluded on the second labor market, with low earning potential and the security of being practically non-terminable. This is because disabled people have a particularly strict right to dismiss, which makes it difficult to terminate for operational or behavioral reasons. Only extraordinary (without notice) dismissals for important reasons are not included.
