First Munich SC

The Erste Münchner Schwimmclub eV is a diving and triathlon club from Munich. Formerly, he started in the swimming 1. Bundesliga , making it one of the most successful clubs for swimming in southern Germany. In the meantime, competitive sports in the swimming area have been completely discontinued.

The women's team belonged to the 1st Bundesliga from 1999 to 2001 and rose again in 2003. In the 2005/2006 season, with 10th place and only a slight lead on 11th place, the relegation could just be prevented (23446 points vs. 23296 points for the relegated team of SG swimming Münster ). The men's team started in the 2nd Bundesliga South. The team's head coach was Schorsch Weinzierl. The best known and most successful swimmer at the EMSC was the relay world champion and Olympic bronze medalist Christian Tröger . Some swimmers of the German national team emerged from the strong EMSC team: Michaela Amereller , Lydia Böhme , Anita Brasic , Bettina Hillmann , Janina Lorenz Adela Suchy and Konstantin Dubrovin . The most important swimmers of the current team are the Turkish record holder and German runner-up 2011 Iris Rosenberger and Jasmin Rosenberger .
