Erts is a small town in the Principality of Andorra , it belongs to the parish of La Massana . In 2013 the place had 413 inhabitants. Erts is located at an altitude of 1340 meters above sea level on Carretera general 5 . In the local area the river Riu Pollós flows into the Riu d'Arinsa .

Worth seeing

The Església de Sant Romà d'Erts Catholic Church in the center of the city has a bell tower with two openings and was built in the late 18th century. The north wall of the apse and parts of the nave contain remains of the old Romanesque church that used to stand on this site. The altarpiece on two levels and the predella are paintings by unknown masters from the Baroque period, reminding of the martyrdom of Sant Romà. The church is registered in the register of listed buildings in Andorra under the number 57 .
