The Esker Provincial Park is a provincial park in the Canadian province of British Columbia . The 40.44 km² park is 40 km northwest of Prince George and west of Chief and Nukko Lake . The park borders directly on Ness Lake in the southeast. It serves to protect a section of the so-called Stuart River Eskers Complex . This Esker complex was formed after the last glacial period when the region's large glaciers melted . Therefore, the subsoil consists mainly of sand and gravel, which was deposited in the meltwater. Snowmobiles and lighting fires are strictly prohibited.

The largest lakes from south to north are the Circle and to the east of it Erickson Lake, the Ridgeview and north of it the Camp Lake, finally in the north of the park the Kathie Lake with the significantly smaller Redstart, Kinglet, Butterfly and Byers Lake.

The south is open to road traffic through Pine Marsh Road, a dirt road that branches off from North Ness Lake Road. In the north there are only hiking trails with a few portages. This road-free part begins south of Ridgeview Lake.

The park, established in 1987, initially covered an area of ​​1603 ha. In 2000, protection was intensified and the park was expanded to 3979 ha. In 2010 there was a further increase to 4044 hectares.

The park offers very good living conditions for beavers, but also for moose, deer, black bears, squirrels, grouse and numerous species of fish.
