Espreso tv (Ukrainian: еспресо tv) is a private television station in the Ukraine , which has been received via the ASTRA Astra 4A television satellite since November 2013 .

history

The station was founded at the beginning of the protests against the Ukrainian government known as “ Euromaidan ”, which led to the removal of President Viktor Yanukovych . Espreso tv gained notoriety through extensive coverage from Maidan Square and largely shared the positions of the protest movement.

On January 22, 2014, journalist Dmytro Dvoychenkov, who had provided live footage for the station, was beaten by police, taken to an undisclosed location and later released.
