The Estadio El Gigante del Norte ( German Giant of the North Stadium ) is a football stadium in the Argentine city of Salta . It was built in 1993 and today seats 24,300 spectators, 1,000 of which are seats.
The local football club Gimnasia y Tiro de Salta plays its home games here, which is why the stadium is also known as the Estadio de Gimnasia y Tiro .
