The Estadio Max Augustín is a multifunctional stadium in Iquitos , Loreto Region , Peru . It is the home stadium of the Colegio Nacional Iquitos football team and various other clubs of the Copa Perú from Iquitos and the region. The stadium offers space for 24,576 people. It was built in 1942 and renovated in 2005. The stadium has a surface made of artificial turf , a tartan track and was one of the venues for the U-17 World Cup in 2005 .
