The Estadio Municipal de La Florida ( German : Städtisches Stadion von La Florida ) is a stadium in the Chilean commune of La Florida , a district of the capital Santiago de Chile . It was opened in 1986 and held 8,500 spectators.
Since the stadium was selected in 2007 as the venue for the U-20 Women's World Cup in 2008 , extensive renovation work took place. The audience capacity was increased to 12,000. On November 12, 2008 the stadium was reopened.
Currently it is mainly used as a football stadium. The football club Audax Italiano plays its home games here.
