The Estadio Parque Federico Omar Saroldi , also known as Estadio Saroldi or Parque Federico Omar Saroldi , is a stadium in the Uruguayan capital Montevideo .

The stadium, with a capacity of 12,000, is located in the Montevidean Barrio Prado on Calle 19 de Abril 1145 . It serves as the home ground for the River Plate Montevideo club . The sports facility was previously named Olimpia Park . The Club Atlético Olimpia , one of the two predecessor clubs that later merged with Atlético Capurro to form River Plate, played its home games there. The stadium bears the name of former club goalkeeper Federico Omar Saroldi , who died as a result of an injury sustained in the game against Central FC .
