Eugraphius
Eugraphius was an ancient Latin grammarian who probably lived in the 6th century AD. He wrote a commentary on the comedies of Terence , which has been preserved in several manuscripts in very different text versions. The commentary deals particularly with the rhetorical content of the comedies.
In the introduction to the commentary, Eugraphius puts the rhetorical design of the Terence Comedies on a par with Virgil's poetry . For his work, Eugraphius made particular use of Donat 's commentary on Terence .
Paul Wessner presented the relevant critical edition (Leipzig: Teubner 1908).
