Connection to

The Umbindehaus-Radweg is a long- distance cycle path of around 115 kilometers in Germany , more precisely in the southern Upper Lusatia in Southeast Saxony. It leads through a landscape characterized by half - timbered houses from Neukirch / Lausitz over the Lausitzer Bergland and Zittau Mountains to Zittau .

Yellow plaques with the imprint "Holiday landscape of the half-timbered houses" lead along the cycle path, which mostly uses developed roads. The half-timbered house cycle path runs between Neusalza-Spremberg and Großschönau for almost 60 km, mainly on roads with little traffic and thus on asphalt. But also sections with forest and meadow paths and different surfaces dominate the entire cycle path and are easy to drive on.

Due to the inclines and the overcoming of hills, the bike path is of medium difficulty, but also suitable for children. The biggest differences in altitude are to be overcome at the beginning (around Weifa) and at the end (around Jonsdorf) of the bike route.
