Eunoë (Queen of Mauritania)
Eunoë was a in the 1st century BC. Living queen of Mauritania .
Eunoë was the wife of the Mauritanian ruler Bogud , who held the Roman general Gaius Iulius Caesar . The imperial biographer Suetonius claims, citing the historian Marcus Actorius Naso , that Caesar - perhaps during this in the first half of 46 BC. Last campaign carried out in North Africa against the opposed party of the Pompeians - I had a brief love affair with Eunoë and gave her rich gifts. It is possible that Eunoë, as Caesar's lover, temporarily replaced Cleopatra . Eunoë's husband Bogud continued to support Caesar.
