Euphiletus (vase painter)
Euphiletus ( ancient Greek Εὐφίλετος ) was probably an Attic black-figure vase painter, active in the middle of the 6th century BC. In Athens .
He is only known by his name on a black-figure Pinax from Eleusis depicting a woman with a diadem and a man with a scepter. However, it is uncertain whether he was the vase painter or perhaps the consecration, as only ΕΥΦΙΛΕΤΟ {Σ} (EUPHILETOS) of the inscription has survived and behind it both epoiesen or egraphsen (according to Beazley) and anetheken can be added.
