history
Euro-Aviation was founded in 1994 and is owned by two insurance brokerage companies in Hamburg and Dortmund and the current CEO, Michael Fischer. The company is the only specialist aviation insurer in Europe.
The business activity includes general aviation risks as well as corresponding liability and comprehensive insurance. Customers include, in particular, policyholders from the field of air sports associations for sport and glider planes and helicopter pilots, but also larger business jets and smaller regional airlines.
The share of foreign business in the contribution payments exceeds 25%. However, the insurer is only active within the framework of the EU trade in services without branches abroad.
