Eurocature

The Eurocature (first time under the name Eurocon ) is an international festival devoted to the art of caricature dedicated and annually in Vienna takes place. In addition to guest speakers, workshops, museum visits and a competition followed by an award ceremony, the main focus is on exchange between the artists. The works created during Eurocature will be presented to the public in the form of an exhibition.

history

The first Eurocature took place in Vienna for the first time in 2013 under the name Eurocon. The founders of the cartoon festival are the cartoonists Bernd Ertl, Gerald Koller, Ralf Ricker and Xi Ding . The festival has been called Eurocature since 2014. International cartoonists such as Sebastian Krüger , Jan Op De Beeck, Jason Seiler, Thierry Coquelet and Tom Richmond were guest speakers.
