The European Judicial Atlas (currently) consists of two completely separate information focuses. The European Judicial Atlas in Civil Matters and the European Judicial Atlas in Criminal Matters . Both information focuses are part of e-justice .

European Judicial Atlas for Civil Matters

The European Judicial Atlas in civil matters facilitates and simplifies access to certain information relevant to judicial cooperation in civil matters and enables documents to be downloaded directly in the various official languages ​​of the European Union .

Through the European Judicial Atlas in civil matters, Union citizens can easily find the court or other authority in a Union member state that is responsible for them . No special search skills are required.

The website is operated by the European Judicial Network in cooperation with the European Commission, mainly to facilitate judicial cooperation in criminal matters.
