European Society for Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy

The European Society for Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy ( European Association for Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy ), EANLPt for short , is a platform of national NLPt organizations, NLPt training institutes and neuro-linguistic psychotherapists, the NLPt (Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy) represent in Europe. The EANLPt is based in Vienna and was founded in 1995.

The president is Catalin Zaharia (Romania), while Birgit Bader (Germany) and Melita Reiner (Croatia) act as vice-presidents. General Secretary of EANLPt is Peter Schütz (Austria), his deputies are Riita Malkamäki (Finland) and Gyula Biró (Hungary).

aims

The aims are to promote the psychotherapeutic application of NLPt (Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy) as a recognized psychotherapy method in Europe, to support training standards and to represent this method in European government agencies and within the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP) and to found a worldwide one Platform for NLPt. The EANLPt is the Europe-wide recognition organization (EWAO) for NLPt in the EAP.

NLPt psychotherapists can obtain the ECP status with the help of "grandparenting" criteria via the metacurriculum. The EANLPt holds two conferences each year in different European countries.
