The European International School Manila is a private school in Parañaque City, Philippines. It is a joint venture between the German European School Manila and the Lycée Français de Manille (English-speaking French school Manila). Its abbreviation is EIS. Another name is “Eurocampus”, the location of the school in Parañaque.
The Eurocampus was founded in 1992. The British School Manila and the Dutch School Manila were also located on the so-called Eurocampus, which was officially opened on October 3, 1992 by Federal Foreign Minister Klaus Kinkel and his French colleague Georges Kiejman in the presence of Amelita Ramos and Armand Fabella. Manila was the first Eurocampus in the world.
In 1997 the Joint School Conference (JSC) was set up, a body for the discussion of internal Eurocampus educational questions or projects of the schools. The delegates from each school were the principal, a delegate from the school administration, two teachers and a student. School principals and representatives of students and teachers who work on collaborative projects.
In 2004 the European International School was designed and the Eurocampus was renamed EIS Eurocampus.
In its mission statement, the Eurocampus promotes “cultural awareness in terms of intercultural learning and understanding by including all professional, educational and human aspects of cooperation”.
German European School Manila
The German European School Manila is a German international school. It was first founded in 1983 as the "Jose Rizal School". In 1992 it was renamed the “German School Manila” when the Eurocampus was founded. In 2010 the DSM was renamed to its current name after it had founded an international section in 2006.
French School Manila
The Lycée Français de Manille (English-speaking French School of Manila) is an embassy school.

Facilities
Both GESM and LFM share most of the facilities of the EIS such as the soccer field, gymnasium, swimming pool, library and clinic.
Certification
EIS offers the mixed-language IB in the upper level, a variant of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. The DESM is recognized by the KMK and the ZfA (part of the AA). The LFM is recognized by France and the Agency for French Education Abroad (French Agence pour l'Enseignement Français à l'Étranger).
