European List of Notified Chemical Substances

ELINCS means E uropean Li st of N otified C hemical S ubstances (to German : European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances).


The ELINCS contains new substances that were and will be notified after the EINECS list was completed (September 18, 1981) in accordance with Directive 67/548 / EEC . The new substances are marked with a seven-digit number of the type XXX-XXX-X. The ELINCS register is continuously updated. The list starts with 400-010-9.
