European sea-level service

The European Sea-Level Service (ESEAS) is a European organization based in Hønefoss (Norway). It started work in 2001 and is part of the Geodetic Institute of the Norwegian Mapping Authority .

The task of the organization is to provide hourly data on sea ​​level as well as related data from the European area. The data is archived over the long term .

The European Sea-Level Service cooperates with other organizations such as The Permanent Service For Mean Sea Level (PSMSL), European Global Ocean Observing System (EuroGOOS), The Global Sea Level Observing System (GLOSS), EUREF Permanent Network and International GNSS Service (IGS).
