European Studbook Foundation

The European Studbook Foundation (ESF) is a Dutch non-commercial organization that aims to introduce breeding books for reptiles and amphibians into terraristics . Founded in 1997 as "Stichting Overkoepelend Orgaan Stamboeken", it changed in 2003 to its current name. At the end of 2008, the organization kept more than 80 stud books in which reptile and amphibian breeders from all over Europe participate.
