history

The company was created in 1993 from the merger of Kartoffelzucht Böhm, Inh. Gebr. Böhm KG and Nordkartoffel Zuchtgesellschaft mbH Ebstorf . In 2002 the company took over the entire operational business for its two partner companies. The entire research and development work is carried out by the shareholders, on whose behalf Europlant is responsible for the sale of the new potato varieties.

The company also sells new varieties of potatoes for four other companies (Saatzucht Berding, Saatzucht Pohl, Zuchtbetrieb R. Jacobs, Mansholt Kweekbedrijf BV).

Products

The company only sells seed potatoes, including well-known varieties such as Cilena and Belana . The product portfolio also includes plant material from biological propagation.
