Eurysthenes (Pergamon)
Eurysthenes ( Greek Εὐρυσθένης ) was a descendant of the Spartan king Damaratus . After his deposition (491 BC), Damaratus sought refuge with the Persian King Dareios I and was granted rule of the cities of Pergamon , Teuthrania and Halisarna from him. Eurysthenes and his brother Prokles ruled over the same cities about 100 years later, their joint government at least for the year 399 BC. Is attested.
