Eva Lacinová
Eva Lacinová (born October 3, 1971 in Prague ) is a former Czech badminton player .
Career
She learned to play with the shuttlecock together with her sister Jitka Lacinová from her father Petr Lacina , also a successful badminton player. In 1986 Eva Lacinová won her first Czechoslovak junior title in women's doubles. She was able to repeat this success the following year. 1987 was also the year she won her first adult title. She won the women's doubles competition again with her sister Jitka. In 1988 she managed the triple at the Czech Junior Championships: She won all three individual disciplines. In 1989 she won another women's double title among adults, but this time with Adela Šimurková at her side. A year later, the Lacinová sisters won again together. In 1992 Eva Lacinová won her first individual title at the Czechoslovak Championships. She was able to repeat this success in 1993, but now without the Slovak opposition in the starting field. From 1993 to 1995 Eva and Jitka Lacinová won the doubles competition again. Both collection of titles are supplemented by several team titles with Spoje and Meteor Prague .
The highlight of Eva Lacinová's career was participation in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, where she was eliminated in round 1 in the women's singles.
