history

The first church was built in the Nekielka Hauländerei by settlers in 1754. It served not only the residents, but also the residents of the surrounding villages as a place of worship. From 1817 the parish belonged to the newly formed ecclesiastical province of Posen in the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union . In 1881 the church was demolished and rebuilt in a neo-Gothic style. In 1907 it was renovated.

After the First World War, the Protestant parish Nakielka belonged to the Uniate Evangelical Church in Poland . With the flight and expulsion of the mostly German-speaking community members who belonged to the minority of the Poles of German ethnicity , the community went under. During and after World War II , the church served as a warehouse for weapons. The church was bought by the Kareński family as private property and serves as a church space.
