The Evangelical Parish Church Pinkafeld AB is in the town of Pinkafeld in Burgenland.

history

Construction of the church began in 1783 and was consecrated in 1785. With the architect Karl Kirchmayr, the church was rebuilt from 1877 and consecrated in 1882. A restoration took place in 1952.

architecture

The elongated church building was structured by architectural details colored in white. The bell tower above the western gable facade has a high onion dome. The simple hall space has an elevated ceiling center panel. The gallery on three sides of the hall is supported by cast iron supports.

Parish

The mother community Pinkafeld has daughter communities in Riedlingsdorf and Wiesfleck , there also in the villages of Schönherrn and Schreibersdorf .

Furnishing

The pulpit altar was designed in late Classicist forms. The font was built around 1800. The organ was built in 1949 by Max Dreher from Salzburg.
