The Gospel Church on Luisenstrasse 51 in Düsseldorf serves the Baptist community as a place of worship.

The church was founded in 1889 with around 42 members. In 1893 the community had already grown to 100 people and the property at Luisenstrasse 51 was acquired for 55,000 RM. The Zion Church was dedicated there on November 4th. However, during the Second World War it was destroyed in a bombing raid on the night of June 20, 1940. The re-inauguration took place on December 15th with a baptismal font on the front wall. In June 1943 the church was hit again by bombs and destroyed. In March 1952 a new church, the Gospel Church, was inaugurated with generous donations from American Baptists.

In 1993 around 70 members, mostly charismatic , left the congregation and founded the Evangelical-Free Church congregation Christophstraße in Düsseldorf-Stoffeln . The inauguration of the new community center took place on October 10, 1993.
