history

Evils Toy was founded in the summer of 1992 in Witten by Volker Lutz and Thorsten Brenda. In 1998 Oliver Taranczewski became the third member of the band RE / Act, Thorsten Brenda left some time later. The music style is a mixture of electro-pop and drum-and-bass borrowings, publications before 1995, however, steered into the dark electro environment.

At the turn of the millennium, Evils Toy developed into the future pop project TOY . TOY produced two albums and an EP between 2001 and 2004 with moderate success before the band fell silent.

After some concerts abroad and the announcement of a new album in 2008, it was announced on the band's Myspace page in May 2009 that Taranczewski had left the band due to artistic differences. In 2017 the band TOY presented the new album "Pain is Love". .
