Evodia
Evodia († 1st century) was an early Christian in Philippi ; it is mentioned in the New Testament.
Evodia had apparently quarreled with a syntyche in the Christian community of Philippi , so that Paul felt compelled to admonish both of them ( Phil 4,2 EU ). At the same time he declares that both of them fought for the gospel with him. Evodia is venerated as a saint ; her feast day is May 8th .
