Ewald Beilmann

Ewald Beilmann (born November 23, 1911 in Witten ; † January 20, 1977 ) was a German politician ( SPD ). From 1954 to 1966 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

After elementary school , Ewald Beilmann attended grammar school and graduated with secondary school leaving certificate. He then worked as an employee of a lawyer, later as a sales representative, and from 1940 as a wholesaler.

Beilmann had become a member of the Socialist Workers' Youth in 1926 and also joined the SPD in 1930.

He was a city councilor from 1946 to October 1948 and a city ​​councilor in Witten from 1948 to 1956 . Beilmann was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament as a direct candidate for the SPD in constituency 122 (Witten) from the third to the fifth electoral term. He was a Member of Parliament from July 13, 1954 to July 23, 1966.
