Exhomologesis
Exhomologesis is a confession of sin in early penance .
Since the end of the 2nd century, the sinner dressed in a mourning robe has been confessing his sins (except deadly sins), the exhomologesis, before the congregation, imploring the intercession of the congregation to obtain divine grace and asking for resumption.
